Get Rid Of The Advertisements

high expectations

We eagerly went to the car dealers,to purchase a brand new suburban.
with all the grand kids, a suv was what we needed, and the old van we turned in.

The price i thought to high, but hubby said, its only a crumb
not to worry, his famous words, i couldn't wait till this deal was done.

well He had high expectations, thinking his wallet did too
He never had a spine of a jellyfish, but could live in a fantasy world.

when things were cheaper, back in the olden days
he hovered back in days of past, my gallant man of yesterdays

real life set in, he didn't complain when he checked our bank account
we settled for a used Suburban, and even got a discount.

5 in 10 with Cherry

Complain
crumb
eagerly
jellyfish
suburban
