Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A Man From The Streets

{VERSE-1}
Tonight she packed all his
things, and told him to go
Said she could no longer live
with him, that there love was
over
We watched him change his
life, now he's just a whino
At night he sleeps in the
park, his bed a patch of
clover
We watched him drink his life
away, from the pain he had
inside
But tonight it all came to an
end, he took that final ride
{CHORUS}
He found a loaded gun, on
the ground in the park
So he picked up his bottle,
and drank down his last drop
Dropped down to his knees,
so he wouldn't miss his mark
The only thing on his face,
was the line from a single
teardrop
And that night on the
evening news, they said he
was just a bum
They said he had no family,
just a man from the streets
{VERSE-2}
Today she blames herself,
for the way he ended his life
And all that she has of him, is
the memories of his death
So she started drinking
heavy, wishing she was still
his wife
She wished that she could
give to him, her last and final
breath
We watched her throw her
life away, from the pain she
had inside
But tonight it all came to an
end, she took that final ride
{CHORUS}
She went to the kitchen,
found a weapon in the dark
She picked up the bottle, and
drank down her last drop
Dropped down to her knees,
so she wouldn't miss her
mark
The only thing on her face,
was the line from a single
teardrop
And that night on the
evening news, they said it
was suicide
The family said she took her
life, over a man from the
streets
