Wild Ones

10

Ten little daisies, oh what a show
One flew away in a summer blow
Tell me tell me, where did you go

9

Nine dandelions in a crooked row
Here's a secret you should know
Their seeds are wishes you sow

8

Eight johnny jump ups searching for their hat
Don't be silly, Johnny jump ups don't do that

7

Seven black eyed Susan's asking why
Why oh why a black eye
Please little flower, don't you cry

6

Six cuckoo flowers in a meadow green
Friend's with the silly cuckoo bird
Beside them, he'll perch and scream

5

Five Dutchman's Breeches hidin' from the ants
All dressed up in pretty little pants

4

Four rosy fire-weeds stately and tall
Springing up where seed pods fall

3

Three blue forget me nots,
Petite coloured dots
Little yellow eyes in center spot

2

Two cheerful four o'clocks waking up late
Little gems zoom and bloom way past eight

1

One little poem, flowers wild and free
A wonderful gift all children should see
