Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Once Again

May I pass through this existence quietly?
Like the sunset in the evening
Beautiful but slowly darkening
Until I disappear beneath the horizon
A remembered glow
A shadow of what I once was
Of what I could have been

May your body memory soothe you?
In times when you feel alone
Remember my touch
My kiss
The warmth of our bodies
In a time where we were one

Do not hate me now that I am gone
For as a traveler I can visit but cannot stay
I touched a part of you that stays with me
Each day as my eyes close slowly
I wonder if I will awaken... and
If on that day when I lay cold
Alone upon the street
We will once again share our love?
