Get Rid Of The Advertisements

LIFE AND ITS SEASONS

hanging now desperately clinging
vagrant leaves of the oak
in a February wind

the last throes of desire
not spent in an organistic moment
but lodged in a season long

so much spent, so many joys
some sorrows, some struggles
the growing, the ripening

life has its seasons
no matter the reasons

there is no letting go
of the past
that has been transformed

there is the looking forward
to the peak of a mountain
climbed
scaled

the view of far off lands
of the far off horizon
or the promised land
