Isaiah 10:3

What lies ahead at the end of my days,
will all my good works amount to mere dust?
You live best you can, by values, mores,
do all for others and, in your God, trust.
On every new day, your hope in the Lord.
The past long forgiven, what more can you do?
Day in, day out, knowing you are adored...
Of that be certain, your Lord died for you.
Reckoning on justice, this love which is mine,
when I leave the world behind, still trusting,
disaster, pain- vanquished, all will be fine,
comes peace divine, needing no adjusting.
From childhood, I have learned to fear nothing.
Afar I hear a host of angels sing.
