Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Now Only Silence
Now only silence, only sadness
rules. Not even now the madness
once that lay in glazed-blank eyes
the three-a.m.-awakening cries
the dark distracted distant blankness.

Seen afar - from outer planets
the years provide a view, a vantage
still and numb, desensitized -
now only silence.

I still can't grasp the odd mechanics
understand the strange dynamics
of how the spark of reason dies.
I feel no anger, only sighs.
I feel no turmoil, churning, manic
only silence.
