THOSE QUIET MOMENTS

The day might be dark and dreary.
The whole day long might be weary
But we know that it will not last
The sun hiding but never lost.

It isn't every day we float on lake waters
Reflecting a beaming sun and blue skies.
We might need to wait for the darkness
Of the night to view some shining stars.

It's those quiet moments that are promising
Even though they might be drearily wearying
And what is it about the blue sky
That blots away all questions beginning with why?
