Get Rid Of The Advertisements

If These Walls Could Talk

So what if you're not close to a
Beau Brummel in style.
Who cares a whit if your Mom
still cuts your hair.

Big deal if girls you wooed moved on
after a while.
You're your own man, why
should you care?

So what if you write so much
better than you speak.
Written word is oft times admired for
the thoughts it holds.

While spewing on in letters it's not
perfection you seek
It's knowing some of your books out there
have corner folds.

If these walls could talk they'd speak
of you with inspiration
sparkling mischievously in the brew mix
that is your brain.

The process for you is all confidence
and joy, no perspiration
Holding it all inside presents a
helluva lot more strain.

Your looks and your speech are not
winning you friends
but occasionally what you have spun
will get you kinda seen.

Use that imagination graciously as a
means to an ends.
It's okay, pat yourself when comments
light up your screen.
