Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Just for Tonight

Just for tonight
I'll draw you near
With sweet whispers
placed at your ear
The lights here are dim
Noone else can see
that we both are here
that you're here with me
The music plays on
we instinctively sway
Though the song beat will change
Our own rhythm will stay
with our fingers entangled
our eyes locked aligned
fingertips at your back
losing all sense of time
Just for tonight
may I please have this dance
if only in our heads
having missed our last chance
The lights here are dim
there is nothing to fear
when we each close our eyes
and pretend that we're near
Just for tonight
