Her Magic Touch

As a man eaten up by love pains and wrath
I wandered, hidden by both time and space.
Each day presented an entirely different path
until I was stopped cold by her angelic face.

She possessed a glow that shines as a candle
illuminating my heart, oh yes that's serious.
The overwhelming joy, I grasp like a handle,
makes this connection eclectically delirious.

As I gaze into her eyes I see love's duplicity
that wants to run barefoot in the sand.
No longer will my lonesome heart pity me
as I usurp magic from a touch of her hand.

Our connection has turned dark into sunshine
where my giddy heart dances harmonically.
Belief in our union will make her heart mine
despite what cynics espouse, sardonically.

Walk with me down real world paths where time
will cure romance like freshly poured concrete.
Stealing each others love isn't certifiable crime,
though a sentence of life would be doubly sweet.
