Get Rid Of The Advertisements

X marks the spot

Was many moons ago when we went camping up in the Laurentians in Canada
A brand new tent not yet tested, found out was worth what we invested
Beautiful lake, I was just a fishing, when suddenly everyone was leaving
I thought just how strange this was, I could not think of a probable cause
When we awoke the next morning, A beautiful day the sun arising
The children scratching their heads, lifted up their hair covered with reds
Our first encounter with black flies, they had eaten our children alive
We left and soon were far away, We arrived late to set up and play
The rain was deep and muddled, to set up it was all a puddled
Next days morning we did discover, ours the only one not water covered
We arrived in Vermont next day early, Sweet mosquitoes just so squirrelly
Then when fishing, caught quite a few, Mosquitoes thick, we withdrew
Back to our abode we did hurry, just thinking back to places we scurried
