Give a Sigh

Sun setting across the ocean's horizon, as a bow being drawn across the violin's strings.
Dancing prancing the rays ignite visions, the flair of toccata music in my mind loudly rings.
All that I am is traced by footprints on the shore, what I'll be lies beyond the wake I make.
Light may fade to darkness but music plays true, I too shall go on life's path and not break.

There are thorns amid roses, there are fruits that are not sweet.
There are many tests of integrity and faces of morality I will meet.
Life might look upon me and give a haughty laugh, or a cast critical eye.
No man can change his destiny and thus I live out mine and give a sigh.
