Get Rid Of The Advertisements

We all carry a Bible inside of us

We all carry a Bible inside of us
Our, own set of rules and standards
But ask do we give praise enough?
For those that love, abide with us.

It’s hard to take others best advice;
Misguided at times, we all believe
We’re the ones who are always—right
And not take offence, start to criticise.

It’s hard accepting we could be wrong
Harder, still believing we’re misguided:
It’s harder, still if we’re used to preaching
Say, you know what? You were right.

We all carry a Bible inside of us
Our, own set of rules and standards
But ask do we love ourselves enough?
To let others see, we’re not all that gruff.
