Trees and Water Haiku Chain

Frozen branches click
Like beaded curtains brushed by
Winterís icy hand.

Droplets tumble down
Ice-crusted trunks, released by
Spring's sweet clemency.

Deep blue summer sky
Brushes across the tree tops
With a sound like surf.

Leaves cling to branches
For one final bright moment
Then fall down like rain.
