FACING CHALLENGES

No need to be jumping into a bullring
To be facing a challenge or defy the odds.
You could just as easily somersault off a diving board
It's much easier to find another way
To measure your nettle and bravery.

But bravery is not a needed ingredient.
So many other things can take its place
There's persistence that doesn't give up.
How about that good old-fashion spirit
That is of the independent kind.
Being positive can always be a help.

No one need to know how the battle goes.
You can always change directions.
