Seasons

In the blink of an eye, and I can not tell why
Another season is left behind, in my mind
Spring arrives with fresh flowers, a burst of showers
A rainbow bright, stars twinkling light, a wondrous sight
Summers temps rise so fast, Thunderstorms roll, the die is cast
A touch of fall, Daytime shorter, the first frost calls
The temps drop soon, time moves so fast, light of the moon
A winter blast, freezing rain, snow, melts so slow, you know
What ere the season, God is in control, enjoy whilst you can
In Heaven seasons are gone, no more chilling to the bone
A perfect time, a perfect place, for God sees fit, in all his grace
A perfect love, from God above, our wondrous home to love
No more pain, no sorrow, only love, laughter forever after

Just for the love of it, phrase

another season is left behind
