The Unicorn's Desire

There's a bower hidden deep in the Arctic
patched with cedars
where pines adorn
And there
in this distant meadow
resides the last
live
Unicorn
~
All the winds since dawn's creation
gently part their blizzard frown
passing round this valley nation
brimmed with love
from Santa's town
All the hustle
toil and bustle
All the song that lifts the hour
fills the sleigh
and weaves the magic
Christmas cheer uplifts this bower
~
Within this town hidden deep in the Arctic
below the blizzard high above
All God's creatures stand together
Wishing Christmas
abounding love
~
Uni-corns
we string together
needle thread and popping corn
Symbolize the loss forever
little horse who lost his horn
Round and round we string together
singing
hanging
its family time
Starlit trees and decorations
cherished memories
Christmastime
~
Beneath the bower hidden deep in the Arctic
on Christmas Eve a man so grey
dressed in red he looks to heaven
Takes a breath
to kneel and pray
~
All the bells and voices ringing
bless the moment with their song
Santa's prayers above were singing
plus a prayer to right this wrong
Far above the congregation
echoes flow from reindeer choir
~
May the lord
in celebration
search the world
in exploration...
grant a Unicorn's desire
~
