Get Rid Of The Advertisements

On Days Like These....Random Thoughts
On days like these as I slowly recover my equilbrium

after having my latest life prolonging injection,

I celebrate and give grateful thanks, say a silent prayer

the injection itself isn't the problem

but it's a reminder of what is lurking inside my body

waiting its chance to start to grow again.

On days like these I look around and wonder at the beauty of our world

and despair of all those hell bent on causing hurt and pain within it .

We live on a tiny little planet, yet warring factions are everywhere.

Will they ever learn that peace is the only answer?

Take everyday as it comes for, who knows, it could be your last.

Looking back is a pointless exercise, today is what matters,

tomorrow isn't here yet.

So I live in the moment, count my blessings,

try to value every minute and second.

Even my silent moments are filled with love and joy.

And I rejoice in the love of very dear friends and family

because for all of us it is love that really matters.
