In The Door

Walking slowly into my yesterdays she never did turn.
Overwhelm relations, no palpable fragments of a kiss.
Never embracing no parting glances, she was taciturn.
Sweet soft conjured memory of an imaginations' bliss.

Only an emptiness looms, where seconds before was my world.
My life of unconditional love, gone in a puff of smoke.
Scripted writing hastily inked on paper now become unfurled.
Continuations rests with empirical knowledge I evoke.

Life must, and will, go on as it has gone on in days before.
As in those days I will get along till she walks in the door.
