The little country church

Glory to his name was the song that they sang loud and clear
Then the sermon came and how this minister could bend your ear
We were taught to love our fellow man, we fell on bended knee
If we live the way of the cross, then we will so very happy be
Our Saviors blood was shed for each soul so we would surely obey
The way of the cross so all of us would gladly show others the way
Now do not be confused the way may cost us our lives in time of test
So to obey the words of righteousness our God has so surely blessed
So when you go to the little country church, remember God comes first
Let those words you hear sink deeply within healing your Godly thirst
There is only one reason for me to die and so doing I give my life to him
Within his word within my heart I truly impart my life to pledge by hymn
Go forth speak out shout it from the highest mountains God loves all
Then you my friend will be serving his holy name heeding our masters call
