Zig Zagging

Zig zagging along a country road
giggling out loud at a hopping toad
a grassy path and curvy turn
jumped right over a lazy fern !

Hands together a bug was praying
I tried to listen to what it was saying.
frogs were making croaky sounds
zig zagging together on bumpy ground

Promenading through foggy fog
dancing right into the land of Nod.
my shadow was dancing to and fro
jumped on my shadow and away it flowed.

Distant church bells started to clang
zig zagging along a song I sang
shades of purple filled the sky
zig zagging home waving goodbye
