Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Reflections of Yore (Challenge)

I can't help but smile
as I wrap myself
in a memory of the past
with sweet
reminicense of
butterflies
tickling our bellies
'n giggles
leaping from throats

The bouquet of
flowers
wearing
pastel skirts
masked your
shyness
Yet...
your big
blue eyes
told a different
story

You...
with your boyish
awkwardness
swaying in the breeze
me...
with my
girlish ways
acting all
giddy

Could feel our hearts
beating faster
when you planted
candy apple
kiss
and til this day
unforgettable
is that moment

When're I see
forget me nots
dancing beneath the sun
I'm carried back
to those days of yore
with sweet
recollection,
of giggles,
butterflies,
childhood fun

Though many years
have passed now
new loves
have touched my life
a Mother,
Sister,
Grandma,
Aunt and loving wife

yet...
for you I
have fond mem'ries
tucked safely
in my heart
a single bloom
of yesteryear
still blossoms
deep inside

Multi phrase challenge...
'a single bloom'
'memory of the past'
'swaying in the breeze'
'dancing beneath the sun'
