Never Read
Never Read

If you look through your book of memories,
You will often find empty pages
In want of color instead of the invisable ink before you,
In want of untold stories, the unspoken thoughts
Of life's rainbows, the photographs of time.
You must rewrite, remember, release
The tethers holding your pen still.
Embrace the memories, fill your pen with color!
If not, your memories will simply
Collect the dust of passing time...
And become like a book tossed away...
Never read and never appreciated.

written for the Multi Phrase challenge
required phrases...
empty pages
invisible ink
unspoken thoughts
a book tossed away
