Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Another Day

Another day
The blackness recedes
Sunlight creeps into my bedroom
Peering behind the curtain
That hides me from this world

Another day
The songbird sings
Happiness and promise
Which I cannot hear

Another day I breath
Wondering if, and when it will be my last...
For as though that time is unknown,
The heartfelt cries of the unwilling
Rush into the gaping jaws of death
And call it justice

They rush knowingly while I hid behind the curtain.
