Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Summer fun, yes, but cool fun

When I grew up, I loved the summer, now, not so much
But now my skin does not like the sun, tender to the touch
My fun is now spent in the shade, so my skin will not burn
I enjoy my summers now, unlike my youth, my, I do yearn
I still enjoy a summer swim, but, I simply do it in the gym
There is small county park, I took my grandchildren to enjoy
Now, almost no one goes there, the fun they have destroyed
A nice little place to splash and play, just while away the day
Now charging an outrageous fee, too much to enjoy or play
Another place I know of, though, caters to the motorcyclist
A lot of shade, the water cool, it makes you want to drool
They drink a lot, but bother no one, they do not play the fool
Summer fun for each and everyone , enjoyed by one and all
