Where can I go
To see the show
Of opalescent specks
In sunlight and hear
A moonlight sonata

No path to pursue
Just a plain view
Leaving me perplexed
And yet I must select

A passage to travel
If I am to unravel
The source of this trick
And hear the music

How can it be
In this day not night
To find such a moon
That gives off light?

These specks hold me spellbound
And me completely confound
Moonlight is not what I seek
It is all so oblique
Nothing pursued comes cheap
Onward I press for a scintilla
Of a hint where to find this sonata.

'opalescent specks in sunlight
and hear a moonlight sonata'
