Born a traveling man
I was born a traveling man,, but I wound up an also ran
My dancing skills far from best, and I could use some rest
I was borne to travel in slow footed time, so very unkind
I feel I could dance so much better, even if I was born blind
I do love traveling here and there, I do love a craven dare
My dreams are to be so suave, and to show some pizazz
Kind of hard to do both maybe I can show some razamataz
I did make many mistakes, at times even the earth quakes
Perhaps God waking me up, even the beggars need to sup
Tying things down, no need to drown, now on the rebound
Love the wayward wind and coming from around the bend
AS they so succinctly say this is the end, my friend, Amen
