Heaven Has Gained A Wonderful Cook

Just about any time of the day if you went to visit my folks before you even reached the big wood front door the aroma of 'Yummy' would make your pallates water as your tummy could hardly wait to taste what you knew mom always made extra of.
She could put together a feast of a meal and called it a deal for the amount of money she spent at the market. Perfection in every bite and a true delight that satisfied us everytime.

I miss those meals, but more then that I miss Mom as today marks 18 years since God called her home.
Mom if I could truly paint a word picture it would be of you always in the kitchen making sure everybody was well fed. Oh my but heaven has gained a wonderful cook. I miss you. Love your 'Phooey'
