Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Informal Proceedings

In the old mill pond where lilies grow,
lives a little green frog named Joe.
He sits upon his padded green,
watching the world as is routine.

Meanwhile......

This and that,
in the kitchen sat.
This was salt,
that was pepper.
Both were in season,
one pure treason,
Sodium spike,valid reason.
Eggs, bacon and pancakes,
healthy trends they sure break.
Peanut butter and jelly,
in front of the telly.
Breakfast or brunch,
maybe for lunch,
Read me forward,
don't feel awkward,
let your thoughts flow backward.
Climb up, sit on the fence,
dispense with common sense,
allow a smile be your defence.

And still...

Down in the pond, a frog named Joe,
croaks agreement. What does he know?
