Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A book, a brook

A book, a brook,
a tree that shook
A swing that swung
A bell that rung
Heralding dawn
And a beautiful morn
Of a childhood
Carefree and good
And now I stop
With a strange thought
What if time stayed
Even for a day
What if that child
All fun and wild
Stayed that way
An extra day
And I realised
That would not have sufficed
The desire the want
To live in the past
And that is not the way
To go about, so I say
Make your heart your guide
And always be a child
Take out the book
And sit beside the brook
Tie a swing on a tree
Let yourself be free
Marvel at the day
Which will go away
Life is on a run, and
You must not miss
The beauty of a coming sun
