Get Rid Of The Advertisements

IN AIR SO THIN

Today I stumbled on the way
To buy a last goodbye.
I searched forever...now it seems,
To see your sky-blue eyes.

I thought the journey would be smooth...
I'd planned it many times.
But there were things I had not known,
When you were here consigned.

The image fixed within my soul
Of how it used to be,
Was out of focus to my eyes...
Because of love, you see.

The lenses fixed within my heart
Were colored deep-hued rose.
The truth denied and never seen,
Lied safely in repose.

But death and its finalities
Wear broken darkened rims.
And truth be known when hearts are cold,
Waft free in air so thin.
