Get Rid Of The Advertisements

My Shoes

When you walk a mile in my shoes, then you can judge my life
But be aware some days are filled with grief and strife
Some days its sunshine, rainbows and fun
Other days I wished I had a gun

Walking down the road I chose to go
Sometimes my movements were fast then slow
Some days I felt like my whole world was ripped apart
I would wonder when the healing does start

Every person has a story to tell
Some days you’re in heaven then you’re in hell
But you hold your head up high
And you try not to cry

Then one day you wonder when all that pain went away
The happiness in your heart was there to stay
I folded my hands and looked to the heavens above
It was then that I knew that my Savior had filled my heart with love
