Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Somewhere

Summer rain teeming down.
It slithers on my window,
I watch, pen in hand,
searching outside edges,
my mind seeking,
thoughts to build upon.

A child sitting on a rainbow,
'Hope' perhaps the title.
A baby bird upside down,
tossed out to fly alone,
by now he has an understanding,
that again and all life long,
there are struggles.

Like me are you one of them,
them, the ever hopeful looking for,
the outside edge that snicks a strike,
a perfect ten of understanding life,
..somehow.
