I Was Wrong

Are you one of those who I have judged unfairly,
thrown the first stone when my own slate was unclean ?
Please forgive me and allow me make atonement.
You are a noble soul where I have been so mean.

Thrown the first stone when my own slate was unclean ?
How many have I wounded by this action ?
So wrong usurping God's authority
and, in the end, gaining no satisfaction.

Please forgive me and allow me make atonement,
though I wouldn't blame you, denying this right.
My own sins weigh me down in deep contrition,
but at least I know, as I have seen His light.

You are a noble soul where I have been so mean,
now I must pardon those who have judged me.
We need treat each other better...as a neighbour,
and imperil not coming eternity.
