What If?

What If?

sweet crystalline moon
adorning in crescent glow
lighting silent night

She gazes at the moon and is again so grateful for what she has been given... a new perspective, new vision, and, above all, new insight into herself and her faith. She ponders the choice she had to make and the risk she took making the choice she did. She asks herself, 'What if you had not done so? Would you have known regret?' Her answer is so easy! Yes, she would have known regret for though she was content in her nearly sightless world, she would have always wondered 'What if?' Yes, she took a chance but the chance was given to her, after all, and her faith in her Lord was strong enough to know He would guide her no matter what the outcome would be. She trusted in Him and His wisdom. She understood this opportunity was a gift and how blessed she is the He offered it to her!
