OH DREADFUL NIGHT

Oh, oh dreadful night
Better to be without sight

Make believe is fun
And gives us a thrill until

Walking in the darkness of night
With only the lonely moonlight

Shadows speaking and terrifying
In shades of darkness defying
Trans morphed into monsters by moonlight

Such demons lurking in our imagination
So many of our own creation.

Coming into our world like a thief
Little we know about their ways to deceive

We fear the demons we cannot see
Even when we know they are not real

Man or beast which to fear most
I find myself sometimes at a lost
