Pitter-Patter Lullaby

LET rain dance on its pitter-patter feet,
THE charming moisture, dripping from grey sky.
RAIN drops collect where e'er they chance to meet,
SING songs of joy...untrue that angels cry.
YOU can't be sad, we needed fresh supply.
A sleepy kind of rain, balm to my soul;
LULLABY recollections make me whole.

Quote: Langston Hughes
