Vanity's defeat
Hide me away forever
in the peace for which we seek
Forever let us sleep
in blessed blessed oblivion
from our vanity's defeat

I am judged by the company I keep
and all the rich winners
do not want me around
so the poor stay poor
and the rich get richer

I am still in love with Annette
I watched 'The Mickey Mouse club
every day home from school
Annette was as pure as a rose
she really reached me

i bought a funny book in 61
where she wrote about
having her tonsils removed
I still love you Annette
You are still my ideal
I am still single and never married

P.s. (All this crematiion dust in the air
makes my skin itch. The devil lives one
floor above me. He is a crippled guy who
lives alone and looks like a nice guy.
