Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A WINTER STORY

When winter blankets glisten white
Across the mountain tops,
I set my sights on playground heights
And snowshoe tracks in spots.

Though play is hard and takes my breath,
I eagerly affirm,
The time I spend knee-deep in snow
Is why my spirit yearns...

For mesmerizing child-like play
Where worries cease to be,
And angel wings brush way a frown
To set my spirit free!

I'd wish to stay and not return
To every day disdain,
And be reclusive in the midst
Of what absolves my pain.
