Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Teenage Tribulation

You've scribbled your goodbye note
In anger, quite possibly in rage.
Hasty words tossed carelessly
Onto the page.

There's an empty place here at the table,
And even emptier in my heart.
Forgiveness takes so little effort
If you really want to start.

The door is always open.
You hold the key to my world.
Lets start anew with the sunrise.
My strong-willed wayward girl.

I know your frustration, Sweetie.
I know the anger it can bring.
Come in, now, supper's ready.
You can't live in that porch swing.

Words tossed carelessly onto the page
Tossed carelessly
