My Faith

With each breath I take
With every step I place on the earth
Never has the earth been so lovely
Nor the sun so bright as today

Some would dissuade me into complacency
They would make their apathy and lethargy my own
The voice of the earth the verse of my Lord is to strong
As for me, I assure you I will press on

Contrary winds may blow strong in my face
Even the gates of hell may block my passage
Yet I will go forward and never turn back
For that is my belief, that is my faith
