Get Rid Of The Advertisements

She Slumbers

BENEATH the setting sun, as skies grow dark,
STARRY pinpoints of light silently appear.
SKIES, cloudless midnight blue, vibrant amazing,
SHE slumbers sweetly, comes no danger near.
SLEEPS well the innocent, without a stir,
DREAMING of childish joys and memories,
OF happy days with family so dear,
THE games of chase around Pop's willow tree.
OCEAN in the distance...loud waves crash,
PEARLS developing where sands intrude.
SO silently she sleeps, nothing disturbs,
DEEP, deep her slumber, bless-ed interlude.
