Seismic Shudders

Young Seismic Eruption
ran home from school,
faced with the implications.
Each time he exerted his thinking gear
the result was...complications.

A tremor along the coastline
of magnitude immense,
one jolt could result in calamity...
any survivors would dwell in tents.

'Don't make me go back there, Papa,'
he said, gulping down a cold drink,
' I can't take this responsibility...
Papa, I shudder to think.'
