Many Have Changed

Our world is made of people
with a harsh legacy of tragedies.
If not for God and His angels
mankind would perish of agonies.

Hating others due to color of skin
treated as if they should not exist.
Thinking they should never have been;
love from God they continually resist.

The many addictions so many have faced
making choices that they know are wrong.
Right up to the point God gives them Grace
and suddenly feel they might be strong.

When the heart of another becomes the focus
and not the color of skin they are born with.
One generation to the next becomes less bias
letting go of our prejudice with every new birth.

(Lyrics from Montgomery Gentry's song
Some People Change)
'Here's to the strong
Thanks to the brave
Don't give up hope
Some people change'

Against all odds love finds a way,
such love flows from God's Grace.
Let it in to show you the day
that your soul will reside in a better place.

It happens all the time, we can change,
never lose hope for those you love.
With the beat of a heart lives rearranged
when the Spirit of God, sends you His dove.

It is written in Isaiah 6:8 he heard God's voice
Calling to Isaiah “Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?” Then Isaiah said,
“Here am I send me.”

I've not heard God's voice
yet I have seen all His signs.
So I make this request in
the name of our Lord,

None can know how much time
we have left, nor how many
souls we may have yet to change.
So my only request is to send us All!
