Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Hidden in Dust

How many paths must a man choose
before he becomes a man.
How many seas must a white
dove sail before she can land.
How many cannon balls will fly
before they forever are banned.
The answers my friend
we'll never know until the end.
For now they're hidden in the wind.
As we pursue our search
for answers to why,
are we looking to heaven
or do we look to our pride.
For improvements to be made
on our social escapades
we must accept others as friends.
I love my Country I love my Lord,
I have good things to say
about my neighbors next door.
So if I could improve one thing
about our global and social order,
it would be to end chaos & disorder.
How many people must war take away
before we realize too many have died.
How many ears does one man need
before he can hear people cry.
The answers my friend
we'll know in the end.
but for now they're hidden in the wind.

This poem is written as a tribute
to Peter Paul and Mary's lifelong
goal of bringing peace and harmony
to us all through the arts. God Bless them!

It is also written for an entry into
Reality1's challenge of what you would
like to change or improve about something
you study. I study social injustice often.
