Gods of man and matter

There’s no science in religion
as there’s no religion in science;
The God of man’s religions
is not the God of the science,
One is the understanding of the mind
The other is of the inner consciousness,
One is as it is apparent,
The other, as it is felt;
One is sought outside of oneself
The other dwells within one’s self.

The gods of man are ephemeral
bonded by the mechanics of one’s
own perception, faith, prejudices
and is highly subjective;
Religion is man-made and is beset
with fear, greed, lust, guilt
and is self-serving-- so is his gods!
Over-run by power and selfishness
akin to any system of tyranny, repression,
totalitarianism, despotism and absolute rule.

The God of science is universal—
Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent…

One is religiously unscientific
The other is scientifically nonreligious.
