Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Idyllic days.
She closed her eyes to sunshine
As she looked up to the sky,
Sometimes to fathom beauty
And sometimes to wonder why
Her silence was a wondrous weave
That made existence smile,
Just the happiness she needed
As she rested for a while.

As she tried hard to remember
She tried hard not to forget,
All those wonderful conclusions
That she’d made just as they met,
Then the waters of her stream
Reflected sunlight mixed with dreams,
That told her sunless shades asleep in corners
Were not the reasons why life gleams.

As she rose and stretched up to the heavens
A drooping sunset kissed her cheek from up on high,
And in the fullness of her waking moments
A skylark sang a melodic goodbye,
As her heart filled with oh so many reasons
And her soul drew comfort from the liquid shade,
She was filled with many slumbering remembrances
From a dream garden where all her wishes played.
