Get Rid Of The Advertisements

DO YOU THINK THEY DID?

I see them in the backyard lot,
With baseball bats and caps.
The lot of them seem jubilant...
Cause school is out at last!

Their voices ring above the noise
Of cars and trucks and planes.
And they don't stop for anything...
Not even for the rain.

Well I remember way back when,
I too was in that crowd.
I couldn't hit the ball too good,
Most times...I weren't allowed.

Well that's ok, I had MY fun
Awaiting me at home.
My horse and pony did just fine,
Wherever we would roam!

I saddled up to hit the trail,
And pranced right past those kids!
I bet they wish that they could ride....
Well do you think they DID?
