Two loving seniors sonnet

Two loving seniors are Sheila and I
Our love began twenty years ago
Our hearts mingled with each sigh
while we joined together very slow
Believing our health is worth more than wealth
She was disgusted how others did treat
Some busy bodies deserve a big belt
This caused her to definitely overeat
Those folks should think and not over react
Some remarks of others make use shutter
because they do not look for every fact
You see they don't care what they utter

She felt hurt both of us felt hurt
So does this define our love and our worth
